ARORA Foundation is a private foundation with the primary mission of accelerating socio-economic development via technology adoption. It aims to leverage digital public infrastructure (DPI) and emerging technologies for public good. The foundation is a subsidiary of ARORA Corporation.

Ankesh Arora is the Director of ARORA Foundation. He has previously contributed to the development of notable companies in healthcare and information technology, and has been an integral part of New York City’s digital and technology ecosystem responsible for “City’s High-Tech Renaissance”, as reported by CNBC and The Huffington Post. He is a member of the City of New York Mayor’s Office. Ankesh Arora is the recipient of New York Leadership Award and has been featured in Forbes’ Agents of Change.

Prior to business ventures, he served in healthcare management at United Health Services Hospitals, the largest healthcare provider in the Southern Tier of State of New York. Ankesh Arora is the author of the book Parallel Patient Flow to Reduce Length of Stay in Emergency Departments.

Ankesh Arora is credited with developing Ava (Autonomous Virtual Administrator, originally known as Arora Virtual Assistant), a high-trust, AI-powered government administrator designed to serve as the intelligence backbone for government leaders, ministries, and administrative agencies. Ava also embodies Arora Foundation’s vision of using technology to uplift lives and sets a precedent for ethical, inclusive tech in the social sector.
